Bethan is a Set Designer based in Aberdare. Since graduating in 2019 she has been working within the Theatre Industry on a freelance basis. Bethan is fortunate enough to have worked as a Set and Costume Designer and Assistant, Dresser, Prop Maker, Stage Management and Assistant Stage Management and Illustrator.

 

Bethan is passionate about creating exciting spaces for people to experience. She enjoys creating abstract environments which allow the audience to challenge their thinking and the connection to the piece. Within her practice it is important to her to think about the environmental impact she is making to achieve the outcome. With this in mind she is always making conscious decisions to how she can improve this. By reusing materials, limiting waste and up cycling second hand items.
